Two options are available depending on the desired effect:

OPTION 1: Clear Varnish – Natural and Authentic Finish

Each piece of wood is coated with a thin layer of high-quality, colorless varnish.

This treatment provides optimal protection and helps preserve the wood against the effects of time (dust, moisture, handling), while maintaining the wood’s raw appearance and natural color.

Benefits:

  • Preserves authenticity: Does not alter the wood’s color or texture.

  • Invisible protection: Acts as a barrier against dust, moisture, UV rays, and handling.

  • Easy maintenance: A simple dry or slightly damp cloth is all that’s needed.

  • Subtle sheen: Enhances natural contrasts with a light satin finish.

OPTION 2: Brown-tinted varnish – To restore and enhance

Some woods, marked by the passage of time, may have a more porous texture, or show signs of wear or discoloration. For these pieces, a brown-tinted varnish is used.

This treatment provides optimal protection and preservation against the effects of time (dust, humidity, handling), while restoring the wood, unifying its visual appearance, and reinforcing its structure.

Benefits:

  • Enhancement: The varnish’s tint accentuates the contours and unique characteristics of each piece of wood, while highlighting the grain and texture.

  • Protection: A barrier against dust, moisture, UV rays, and handling.

  • Easy maintenance: A simple dry or slightly damp cloth is all that’s needed.

  • Restoration: Beyond aesthetics, the varnish restores and provides long-lasting protection for the wood, stabilizing its structure and making maintenance easier.

  • A range of shades to choose from: Provides an elegant and authentic wood tone.
